We do whatever it takes, from onsite cooking to traveling for hours in vans loaded with equipment, food and staff. We’ve rolled sushi in an alley, roasted a pig at a winery, fried crab cakes in an alley (in the dead of winter no less!), and prepared dinner (for hundreds) in a garage. Our service is always professional and appropriate - from elegant plated dinners to backyard barbeques. Blue Plate Special crafts experiences for all sizes of celebrations and events giving you traditions with a twist.

At Blue Plate Special every menu is personally designed with your input. And no menu is final until you have what you want. In addition to food, we can assist with every aspect of your event, including music, decorations, photography, flowers, equipment and site rentals.

Our food offerings range from the elegance of fine French cuisine to the fiery foods of the Southwest; from the exotic flavors of Asia to the comfort foods of America, from the endless varieties of Mediterranean fare to your personal favorites.
